This year marks a half century of service for PMI. In honor of this momentous occasion, we held a 50^{th<\/sup>-anniversary picnic on July 21, 2017. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n}

We made it a point this summer to invite all employees to the picnic, including those from Mechanicsburg, Williamsport, Altoona, Shippensburg, Reading, State College, Lancaster, and surrounding areas. We even enjoyed retired employees who chose to join us in honor of 50 years of service. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To kick off the fun, attendees enjoyed a trivia game with prizes, as well as various door prizes. And, of course, no picnic would be complete without ice cream to cool everyone off during the hot, humid afternoon. Some attendees even took advantage of the pool and dipped their feet in. Nothing could dampen the spirits of those on hand.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

From Humble Beginnings<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/address>\n<\/h4>\n

In 1967, Community Management, Inc. first opened for business. Real estate management wasn’t just a part of what we did — it was the only we thing did.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

That commitment to outstanding community management and above-and-beyond service for both community owners and their tenants is what has sustained PMI for half a decade. <\/span><\/span>Today, we manage over 65 apartment communities, over 70 homeowners’ associations, 19 manufactured homes communities, and over 90 commercial communities.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As we look back on 50 years of working across Pennsylvania, we’re both proud of the work that we’ve done and excited for the next 50 years.<\/p>\n

\nA Focus on the Keystone State<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n

We’ve always focused solely on Pennsylvania and serving its community owners and tenants. We have two offices, one in Lemoyne and one in State College, which we’ve found have worked well in maintaining relationships with our clients and those who call our clients’ communities home. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We’ve also found that having on-site staff is one of the keys to successful community management. When you have community managers who are actually present at the community, you can develop relationships and provide impactful service in a way that would otherwise be impossible.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
